What Fun!!!!

20th High School Class Reunion! I had SOOOOOO much fun.....but that could have been because of the open bar! No, I think it was seeing my friends, which are mostly Facebook friends, that I have not seen in 20 years! Only one person, Todd, I have actually SEEN in person in those 20 years. My best friend in high school, Shannon, now we have talked by email, but have not seen each other in 20 years!

Don't you think 20 years without seeing friends is WAY too long? I do! We had a graduating class of over 600. The turnout was 140? And that included guests/spouses! There are so many more that I would have loved to have seen, but you know that I did not even get around to talking to everyone there!!! Again.....could have been the open bar! Who knows!

Now Shannon and I....well, we connected again like we had not been away from each other for 20 years! Oh how I had so much fun with her and her husband! My husband......yes, I dragged the poor guy along....now he and Shannon's husband Matt hit it off like brothers separated at birth. Too funny!

Not that most of you will know anyone in these photos, but I like to look at them.....they make me smile and bring back GREAT memories!

Hello and Happy Father's Day!!! I wish my laptop and printer/scanner would "talk" to one another better so I could have added a picture of my own father and step-father here!

For my step-father I borrowed and adjusted a poem I found on Facebook:

Beautiful Lilly's grow in heaven, so Lord pick a bunch for me. Place them in my step-father's arms; tell him they're from me. When he turns to smile, place a kiss upon his cheek and hold him for awhile, because remembering him is easy, I do it every day. There's an ache in my heart that will NEVER go away! Randon Tuesday Thoughts

*Oh how we miss Florida already!
*I am excited to start back to work tomorrow at a new job!
*I had my first "fill" today at my surgeons office.....down 6 more pounds this month!
*The above picture shows where we stayed during vacation and where we are thinking about buying!
*Of course it might be years before we have enough $$$!
*I am watching Monsters, Inc. and I always cry at the end!
*I have been kicking around the idea to have some girlfriends over for a fun jewelry making night!
*I have some new ideas kicking around in my head...he he he.
*I never would have thought I would miss my little one so much after being glued to her for weeks.....but I do! VERY much!
*Speaking of "little one". If she drags out any more toys to this living room I might be able to set up shop as a toy store! I think she missed her toys!
*My husband is thinking of quiting his job and staying home for awhile....hmmmmm, food for thought.
*If the heat is any indication of what we are in for this summer....it is going to be a HOT one here in southeast Missouri!

A Little Something.......

Hello! Just thought I would leave you with a little something while we go on vacation! Madelyn had her Barbie MP3 player in her ears and playing while she sat on my lap.....she was also watching TV AND singing along.....all at the same time. So, what is a mother to do? Start up the laptop video camera!!! A little blackmail video never hurt anyone!

We are heading out VERY early in the am tomorrow. I am bringing the laptop as there is supposed to be wireless internet available......cross your fingers. So, you all may or may not be bombarded with vacation pictures! Ohhhh lucky you!
