Random Thoughts.........

LOVE my new nursing job.....but, I am still on orientation and in the "honeymoon" phase!


Can not tell if that is thunder I hear or the new house construction next door.....I'm thinking thunder.

I stopped biting my nails.....now if they would all grow at the same length and time all would be fine in the universe.

I have a new love in my life and his name is Kindle.....CAN'T. STOP. READING!

My husband is the best.....hands down!

I am still freaking out over Madelyn starting kindergarten August 16th......like, give me anti anxiety meds, freaking out!!!

Miss my Madelyn working the shift I am, but secretly LOVE that my husband is now the "mommy".....he he he.....I am evil!

I am thinking about reopening my Etsy shop.

I had my second "fill" a week ago and am down 6 pounds!! Woo Hoo!!

Zumba is fantastic......but, I am still too chicken to try and join a class. I look like a hippo who has no rhythm! Seriously embarrassing!


For months EVERY night I have had CRAZY dreams....could write a novel with the plots of some of these.

Hello! Happy Monday to you all! I wanted to drop in and say a BIG "Thank You" to Lorelei Eurto! She had a great swap a few months back, exchanging earrings that she made for some new beads/components for jewelry making.

She recently listed a bracelet in her Etsy shop made with one of the components I sent her. It was a last minute "throw in" kind of piece, as I really was upset that it did not turn out the way I saw it in my head. Typical. But she must have liked something about it to add it to one of her designs. And I must say, I REALLY like the bracelet! She showed me the possibilities of the charm I made, and that has had me falling asleep at night with a smile on my face, as I drift off creating more pieces in my head.....ahhhh, jewelry bliss!

So, Thank You Lorelei! You have lit the fire that was growing cold in my creativity department!!! YAY!

What Fun!!!!

20th High School Class Reunion! I had SOOOOOO much fun.....but that could have been because of the open bar! No, I think it was seeing my friends, which are mostly Facebook friends, that I have not seen in 20 years! Only one person, Todd, I have actually SEEN in person in those 20 years. My best friend in high school, Shannon, now we have talked by email, but have not seen each other in 20 years!

Don't you think 20 years without seeing friends is WAY too long? I do! We had a graduating class of over 600. The turnout was 140? And that included guests/spouses! There are so many more that I would have loved to have seen, but you know that I did not even get around to talking to everyone there!!! Again.....could have been the open bar! Who knows!

Now Shannon and I....well, we connected again like we had not been away from each other for 20 years! Oh how I had so much fun with her and her husband! My husband......yes, I dragged the poor guy along....now he and Shannon's husband Matt hit it off like brothers separated at birth. Too funny!

Not that most of you will know anyone in these photos, but I like to look at them.....they make me smile and bring back GREAT memories!

Hello and Happy Father's Day!!! I wish my laptop and printer/scanner would "talk" to one another better so I could have added a picture of my own father and step-father here!

For my step-father I borrowed and adjusted a poem I found on Facebook:

Beautiful Lilly's grow in heaven, so Lord pick a bunch for me. Place them in my step-father's arms; tell him they're from me. When he turns to smile, place a kiss upon his cheek and hold him for awhile, because remembering him is easy, I do it every day. There's an ache in my heart that will NEVER go away! I LOVE and MISS YOU GLENN! Happy Father's Day.
