Etsy Shop - REOPENED!

Hello all! I am still clicking my way through the fantastic Bead Soup Blog Hop! I want to say that I really appreciate all the fantastic comments you have left here! As well as on my bead soup partner, Kitty Durmaj's, blog! Thank you all so very much! It is because of the very sweet and enthusiastic comments about my handmade beaded toggle and handmade pendant, that I decided to bite the bullet and list some of these components in my Etsy Shop!

I made 3 more beaded wheels tonight. I hope to make some candy earring tomorrow with Madelyn (she LOVES these) and then on to some pendants.....so look for these to be listed too!

This was the hard decision and IDEA I had awhile back! If it does not fly and they never sell then "Oh Well", onto something else! In truth.....they just make me plain happy to make them!

Bead Table Wednesday......BTW

Hello all! Here it is, yet another Wednesday. Not much has changed around my bead table, but it is BEAD TABLE WEDNESDAY, so I have got to show what's been going on! Right now my "bead table' consists of a lap desk and me sitting on the bed, or on my new couch watching TV while I crank out a bunch of these Sparkly Wheels (Beadwork Magazine).....I am turning them into toggle clasps. This is the IDEA that I have been mulling over.....see THIS post! This also goes along with last weeks BTW picture of all the beads I have been purchasing. My actual bead table STILL looks as messy! :)

My Favorite Time of Year

Hello! Oh, I loooovve Fall! I can tell, it is right around the corner. Ok, so it is still August here....but, every day we get closer! Here is a little Fall-Like Sparkly Wheel necklace. Just a little something I made yesterday before heading off to work!

I showed it to Madelyn this morning before she headed off to school.....she said, "I LOVE the butterfly, you make the most awesome stuff mama!". She is, you know, a very hard critic. Ok, so she likes everything I make, but still........

My Weekend

Hello! I am waiting on some beautiful 24K Gold earwires for these beauties! Just strung them on some sterling earwires to get a sneak peak of what they will look like!! I like!!!

Now this....this cost me some pain...in the fingers!! Thumb and index finger on my left hand are burned and blistered. Oozing hot glue....OUCH! Love it though......sorry for the bad photo and light, you might be able to tell it was getting late into the afternoon...almost evening when I finished and hung it! It does finish my entry way though!!!

Sparkly Wheels

Well, I am hooked! I LOVE making these....and I have NO idea yet what to do with them! Can you see me? Sitting here surrounded by all of these sparkly beaded wheels wondering what-in-the-world to do with them!

You know what I love best about them? My 5 year old daughter can help me make them. After making and tying the first initial circle, I hand her the needle and tell her, for example, "Five tiny brown ones"......and it takes her about 15 minutes to get them, but she does it! AND she LOVES it! AND, if any of you out there know me as a parent, handing my 5 year old a beading needle is not something I do lightly. I actually was near controlled hysteria....but I kept it cool and kept my mouth shut. She only stuck herself one time, and she just put her finger in her mouth and kept on beading! Mama was sweating bullets! Anyway, then I weave it where it needs to go and hand her back the needle. Teamwork!
