Good UPS Day!

Hello! I am SOOOOOO excited that the UPS man came today! He delivered a print from Bryan Haynes.....my favorite artist. I fell in love with Bryan's work about 7 years ago while searching venues for my wedding. My now husband, Tim, and I were the first couple to get married at St. Vincent's Chapel at Chaumette Winery.

The print happens to be of the chapel where we were married. Once it gets framed and hung in the house I will post a photo of it! It is beautiful! I can NOT wait! Just a little tease for you all on this beautiful Tuesday! Enjoy!

Random Monday Thoughts...

*How come all the moms dropping off their kids at kindergarten are skinny, blonds with big boob jobs? I live in Farmington for petes sake!

*Rainy here today, which might account for my mood, no good light for picture taking.

*Doesn't matter if it WERE sunny, the camera is in the Durango which my husband took to work.

*I have new blisters on my fingers, not from the hot glue gun this time, but from trying to cut copper pipe with a cheap pipe cutter....AND I wore gloves!

*Was only successful once at cutting said copper pipe, so only ONE copper pipe bezel charm was made this weekend.

*Going to shop eBay and Amazon for better tools for cutting....should have researched better on Youtube about cutting because THERE is where I found the better tools to use.....oh well!

*I have beautiful painted toenails and toes thanks to my daughter.....she gives the best pedicures!

*Going to attempt to make a wire wrapped ring today....might wait till the "grouchies" are over though.

My Middle Name is Not Grace

Hello Friday! Hello everyone! So....I fell yesterday getting ready for work. I had to have my husband take me to the local ER. I bruised my kidney and am having bouts of hematuria (blood in the urine). The worst part...besides the pain ALL over? Missing work. I love my job, and actually look forward to it! I also hate taking meds, well, at least the ones that don't leave me in full control of my faculties.

So....here I sit, in discomfort and feeling sorry for myself! Bah! Going to go listen to an audiobook and make some more sparkly wheels...oh I Do love to make them! I need to get more creative with what to do with them once I have made them!

My Favorite Time of Year

Hello! Oh, I loooovve Fall! I can tell, it is right around the corner. Ok, so it is still August here....but, every day we get closer! Here is a little Fall-Like Sparkly Wheel necklace. Just a little something I made yesterday before heading off to work!

I showed it to Madelyn this morning before she headed off to school.....she said, "I LOVE the butterfly, you make the most awesome stuff mama!". She is, you know, a very hard critic. Ok, so she likes everything I make, but still........

Kids Say The Sweetest Things......

Email from a mommy of a little boy that went to preschool with Madelyn: "Caleb took his lunch today, a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. He told me, "Well, I have to eat them now because I can't when I get married". I was like, "ahhh Caleb, there's no law in the state of Missouri stating you can't eat pb&j when you get... married." He looked and me and rolled his eyes and said "duh mom, Maddie is allergic to peanuts"

I think my heart just grinned!

My Weekend

Hello! I am waiting on some beautiful 24K Gold earwires for these beauties! Just strung them on some sterling earwires to get a sneak peak of what they will look like!! I like!!!

Now this....this cost me some pain...in the fingers!! Thumb and index finger on my left hand are burned and blistered. Oozing hot glue....OUCH! Love it though......sorry for the bad photo and light, you might be able to tell it was getting late into the afternoon...almost evening when I finished and hung it! It does finish my entry way though!!!

Tomorrows The Big Day!!!

Blahhhhh. Stomach bug since LAST Tuesday night!! Can not go too far from the bathroom! What is the worst? NOT getting to see my sister and nephews for the first time in over 2 years! Yup....THAT sick! My husband and daughter however DID get to go to St. Louis for the weekend to meet up with them. Hope I recover soon.....have to get back to work!
